Michael M. Martin, head of the St Kitts & Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) announced that the country's Citizenship by Investment Program has officially opened the Public Benefit Option (PBO) investment category to applicants.
The PBO was announced alongside a slew of changes at the start of 2023, but it did not open its doors to applicants until nearly a year later.
The PBO aims to attract investors who want to bring "substantial benefit to the people of St Kitts and Nevis" through targeted ESG investments. The minimum investment threshold is set at $250,000, and application and administrative fees apply.
