Price includes the following: · Government donation for the Main applicant is €650,000. An additional price of €25,000 for the spouse and dependent applicants over 18 is an additional of €50,000. · Government bonds – An Investment of €150,000 into Malta government bonds. (Held for 5 years) · You either have to Purchase a property for €350,000 or rent a property for €16,000 p/a for 5 years.

The Malta Citizenship Program takes approximately 16-18 months to complete which will be detailed below:

Month 1

· Brookes & Partners conducts an initial due diligence screening on the client before any agreement is signed.

· Once we have an all clear from our compliance team, we will issue the client with their contract.

· 50% of the Brookes & Partners Legal & Management Fee is paid.

· €10,000 deposit is also paid for the contribution to the National Development Fund (NDSF)

 

Month 2

· The client pays for the Real Estate Lease Acquisition - €32,986

· The MIIP Application is prepared & submitted

· The client has to visit Malta for Biometrics & Rent a Property in Year 1

· The client will be required to spend 2 weeks in Malta in the first year

· The residence card is issued one week after the client visits Malta

 

Month 3-4

· The clients Citizenship Application is prepared. This process takes usually 12 weeks

 

Month 5

· Balance of 50% of Brookes & Partners Legal & Management Fee is paid

· Government Due Diligence & Passport Fees are also paid – Amount depends on the number of applicants.

· MIIP Citizenship Application is submitted

 

Month 6 - 11

· Government Due Diligence & Processing begins and continues for a 6-month period.

· At the end of this period, the client will get an approval in principal.

 

Month 12

· Remaining Balance of the Contribution to the National Development and Social Fund (NDSF) is to be paid – Amount depends on the number of applicants.

· Real Estate Investment has to be concluded of either €350,000 or leasing an apartment for 5 years the value of which is €16,000 p/a

· Investment of €150,000 into Government Bonds

 

Month 13 -16

· Client visits Malta for the Government form filling

· Oath of Allegiance takes place

· Clients Biometrics for the passport are taken

· Certificates of Naturalization & Passports are issued – This takes place 7-10 days after the Oath & Biometrics have been concluded.

The time frames above are estimates and depend on the readiness of the documents from the client and third-party responses which are out of the control of Brookes & Partners
